Happy Easter, to you, too! I've eaten all of my chocolate bunny, except the ears. (I always start at the bottom, have since I was a kid!) The squill (right?) are very cute. The only thing blooming here at the mo' are hyacinths and a chionodoxa that I don't remember buying (?!).
No chocolate bunnies here. I'm regretting putting the blinders on walking through the candy aisle when LM and I went grocery shopping Thursday! (There's always Walgreens! ;)
Yep, those are squill. I think it's Scilla siberica 'Spring Beauty.' They're pass-alongs so I'm not positive.
Happy Easter Linda! Trying to get back in to the blogging world again - spring is around the corner - and I think we're finally turning the corner on the flood situation here. It's been a LONG winter. Look forward to reading your posts again ...
thanks for stopping by my Blog! Have a great week! I am teaching a class this week at Boerner Botanical Garden this week on succulents. Now I know how you felt at The Chicago show! LOL
These lines are so appropriate for spring and Easter. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday yesterday, wasn't it? Hope you had a great day. April showers have arrived here today.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I was supposed to be back at work today, but the cold, rainy weather has given me a reprieve!
This morning I planted Casa Blanca and Stargazer lilies purchased at the Chicago garden show. My fingers were freezing, so I'm glad I got the rest of the planting done yesterday in the sunshine!
Yesterday I planted winterberries, Annabelle, Endless Summer, and oakleaf hydrangeas, yellow wax bells, and Virginia bluebells.
Saturday it was Heuchera 'Midnight Rose,'a bergenia, goatsbeard, Brunnera 'Jack Frost,' and two more hellebores.

Happy Easter Beth!
Good to see you're back. I shudder to think what winter must have been like in ND - it was bad enough in the Chicago area.
Thank you Beckie! Now, if it would only start to FEEL like Spring!
I love blue flowers, too -- these are so spring-like, Linda. Happy Easter to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteYou too!

ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! I think I might have the same chionodoxa as Monica because I don't remember planting mine either. Perhaps the fairies plant them.

Happy belated Easter. This has been one of our best yet. The trees and Spring plants are really put on a show.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful Easter Anna! It's too chilly here for much of a spring show yet, but I just know warmer weather's right around the corner!
