After the Storm

  1. The snow provides such a beautiful backdrop for winter photo magic...It looks like your pup is having a blast;-) The garden statues seem to be taking it all in stride! Hope you are staying warm!

  4. All I can see is my Rooster Rusty's head peeping up out of that snowdrift and he's sitting 3 above the ground.

No one has dug out from the back alley side and I don't look forward to being the first.

I know that ole' groundhog says we'll have an early Spring this year and I'm hoping he's right, cause I'm sick of winter !

  6. Pretty deep out there, isn't it Balisha!

Oooh, the alleys Carolyn! I remember snowy alleys took a long time to get cleaned out back when I lived in the city. I'm surprised the groundhog came out at all!

Thank you Rose! It is pretty out there, and I'm glad the storm is over! Hope you're staying safe and warm too.

  7. Finally was able to get the car out today, streets not great and garbage truck could not get down the alley. They had to hand truck it to the main street.

  9. I ventured out today too Eileen. It was smooth sailing. Our garbage pickup was delayed a day, and we didn't have mail delivery yesterday. Things are gradually getting back to normal around here.

It was kind of nice to get out there with the camera Rose, even if everything's pretty much white, brown, or gray! (It will be even nicer when everything's back to green.)

  11. Hi Gardengirl
Wow! You've got more snow than we here in Switzerland. Well for me that's fine because I'm looking forward to spring. Snow looks so nice but it's too cold for my gusto :o) and for my cat Noah :o). He really hates it to put his paws in the white stuff.
    Take care
    Alex

Wow Alex - more snow than Switzerland! We're looking forward to spring too. It's very cold here today too. Stay warm!

  13. It sure is Victoria! Looks like a lot of it will be melting in the next week or so. After some very frigid temps this last week, the extended forecast is calling for above-freezing temps.
