  4. Hi Nancy, glad you enjoyed it.

Me too Skeeter. I've surprised myself how emotional I've been since the election.

    You're welcome Gail!

    Glad you liked it Tina!

  5. I really think it's time for members of both parties to act as HUMANS, not politicians, and help each other--instead of blame each other-- to help the people. Even though I lean Dem, I very much respected McCain's concession speech where he wished Obama well and pledged his support for him. Very gracious, and I hope he meant it. Obama certainly has a huge task ahead of him!!

  6. I hope Obama will be able to live up to his reputation for being able to bring people together Monica.

I agree, McCain's concession speech was very gracious, and seemed heartfelt to me.

  7. Well, I would have missed it if not for you! Thanks! I only wish his grandmother could have lived a few more days to see it herself.

  8. Hi Brenda, it's so sad that she didn't live long enough to see him elected and be able to share that moment with him.

  11. I live in the Caribbean an am married to a great guy from Miami Florida. I seem to be more interested in the politics of the USA than hubby. I am pleased that the USA electorate can vote for someone they feel is capable for the job based on his ideas and credentials and not on his skin colour. However we all have to remember that he is human and will make some mistakes. I just hope that people will not expect miracles overnight and will have some patience. Remember Rome was not built in one day and there is much rebuilding to take place. My sincerest wishes to Barack Obama and family.
