Wordless Wednesday

  1. Eggplant is a favorite, should have included it with the lasagna I made yesterday. However,it is not a favorite of the children, maybe I will do a separate pan for the adults.

  2. I was wondering if there was a pun involved. Worldless wednesday, I think you may have started something intriguing.

    Beautiful eggplants!

  5. How nice of your eggplant to provide a handle for carrying it:)

  6. It's a favorite of mine too Eileen. The Lawn Man, however, is not a fan.

They are so pretty, aren't they Rosey. This one was from my mom's garden. You caught me in a typo, but now that I think of it, worldless wednesday could definitely catch on.

    Thanks Gail!

I love unusually-shaped fruits and veggies Rose!

Enjoy them Monica! I got a couple of the little Asian ones at the farmers market this summer - yum, they were really good.

It was very nice of the eggplant Rose! And I carried it right to the cutting board!

  7. When I think of you, I think of multiple garden gloves (of other things too!). And here is a glossy mitt!

I saw this in my Blogger dashboard when you published it and didn't "get it." Now that I see the picture larger I'm laughing hysterically because it looks like an eggplant mitten. The little guy was prepared for the first frost, LOL.

  9. LOL Esther! At first I couldn't decide if it was a boxing glove or a mitten, then I decided it was a peaceful mitten.

Last year Mom grew a potato the shape of Wisconsin MBT. I was delighted to find another creative veggie this year. We got the eggplant the day before they had their first frost. I hope it was prepared for my first Moussaka, since that's where it ended up. ;)
