You won't be surprised that this is not my kind of film (!) and I am surprised how time-lapse photography makes nature seem quite un-nerving. Not only do I find it makes plants seem quite repellent, I am disconcerted to see how much I miss in the ordinary way of things because we humans aren't slow enough to 'see'.
I enjoyed the idea that looking at women was presented in the older man's field of pleasures! I wondered what he thought about that too.
I can understand how it's not your cup of tea Esther.
More than anything, I enjoyed the sentiments being expressed.
I admit though, I also enjoyed the time-lapse, and even the super-saturated colors. I have always enjoyed time-lapse photography, and bright color is welcome when November here is almost relentlessly grey and brown.
'Course, there's also the irony of speaking of gratitude for nature's beauty, juxtaposed with such enhanced images. And I do find lots of beauty in November even if it is the cloudiest month of the year here.
I didn't have time to watch the whole video this morning, but I will be back to finish watching it later...the time-lapse images are amazing! As much as I love the flowers opening up, seeing the strawberries ripen was awesome.
We need only to look around us to find something to be grateful for--thank you for the reminder, Linda. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We had a lovely, quiet Thanksgiving, just the two, (er, three including George,) of us. The Lawn Man outdid himself on dinner, and while Thanksgiving with the family is always wonderful, it was also nice enjoying such a leisurely, quiet day this time.
Just lovely, Linda. I sent it on to other family and friends who might not be subscribed to FB or this blog. Love you lots. ♥ ♥
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it Mom! Love you too! ♥ ♥
