The butterfly daffodils though, seemed to tolerate the heat a lot better.

You're lucky you can grow tulips MBT! My daffodils are pretty much done, as are my crocus, but today I noticed that the tulips are starting to open. I'm hoping mine multiply one day so that I can divide them, too, though I probably won't be as generous as you with my divisions:)

The weatherman explained the other night why we had such a mild winter and why we're having such an early spring--something to do with the jetstream hovering over Canada. I'm happy to see spring, although it feels like more summer here with temperatures in the 70's and 80's (Fahrenheit.) It's about 2 1/2 feet away from a south-facing window that has semi-sheer drapes, so it's really just bright, indirect sunlight. I don't think they need a whole lot of sun to bloom. Last year I had it under the light in the basement and it still bloomed down there.garden girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13284047851881823280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7447389184218295999.post-1684847408201068332012-03-16T18:51:57.958-05:002012-03-16T18:51:57.958-05:00Thank you Holley!
